2022 IRM Capacity Building Workshop for GRMs

The Independent Redress Mechanism (IRM) of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) is offering, training for Grievance Redress Mechanisms (GRMs) in the format of a free online course. This course will combine live sessions with industry leaders, along with self-instruction through the IRM’s online learning modules. This is a unique opportunity to be guided through the modules, ask questions, discuss course content with experts, and meet other grievance redress practitioners. The workshop will be conducted over four weeks from 30 May to 24 June and participants should anticipate a total time commitment of about 5 hours a week for the four weeks (20 hours).
This training is primarily intended for staff of GRMs but depending on the number of registered participants, registration may be extended to staff working on issues related to Environmental and Social Safeguards (ESS).
Participants who successfully complete this training will receive a special course certificate signed by the Independent Redress Mechanisms of the GCF, the Consensus Building Institute (CBI) and the MIT-Harvard Public Disputes Program.
