PICAN Technical Training Session: Climate redress in the Pacific with the IRM

The Independent Redress Mechanism (IRM) addresses complaints by people who believe they are negatively affected or may be affected by projects or programmes funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF).

To raise awareness about its mission and values in the Pacific region, the IRM is collaborating with the Pacific Islands Climate Action Network (PICAN) and hosting a webinar for civil society organisations and local community leaders.

The virtual webinar will also feature short presentations by PICAN and the Independent Evaluation Unit (IEU) on its recent evaluation of the Green Climate Fund's investments in SIDS.
