Hiring: Spanish Speaking Translators and Interpreters

The Independent Redress Mechanism (IRM) is currently seeking qualified Spanish language Interpreters and Translators to support its work on IRM cases in Colombia and help ensure access, transparency, and accountability. 

These roles are critical to ensuring that affected communities and stakeholders can fully engage with the IRM. The Spanish Interpreters will support oral interpretation between English and Spanish, while the Spanish Translators will be responsible for translating, reviewing, and editing IRM reports and related materials in both languages.

Both positions are offered as remote consultancy positions and work will be assigned on an as‑needed basis. Qualified candidates with experience in professional interpretation or translation, particularly in legal, accountability, or development contexts, are encouraged to apply. A strong committment to confidentiality is required.
