The IRM welcomes Ibrahim Pam as its new ad interim Head

Incheon, 2 September 2022 – Following a decision by the GCF Board, Ibrahim Pam has been nominated as the new ad interim (a.i.) Head of the Independent Redress Mechanism (IRM).

Under B.BM-2022/06, Ibrahim Pam will serve as the a.i. Head of the IRM from 31 August 2022 to 31 March 2023. The decision was taken by the GCF Board on 25 August 2022 on a no-objection basis. He will also continue to serve as the Head of the Independent Integrity Unit (IIU).

“The IRM plays a crucial role, as an independent unit, in the success of the GCF,” said Ibrahim Pam. “I am deeply honoured to be nominated by the Board to lead the IRM while it searches for a new Head.”

Ibrahim Pam previously worked as an Analyst and Investigator in the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court (ICC) and then as Chief Investigator in the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Department of the African Development Bank (AfDB).
